Forklift Refresher Course

Refresher training is a very important part of any workplace safety program. Go Workplace Training's Forklift refresher courses have a variety of options to suit your company or individual needs. Unfortunatley too often we are asked to deliver these courses after there has been an accident at a workplace and Worksafe has issued an improvement notice directing all forklift operators to undergo a refresher course. 

 

Course Details and Prerequisites:

 

There are three options when considering completing a Forklift refresher course:

 

Forklift refresher course option 1:

 

Complete the unit of competency TLILIC0003 - Licence to operate a Forklift Truck over two 8 hour days. This option is good for forklift operators that have been assessed for their Forklift Licence prior to the 1st October 2012. Obtaining this Unit of Competency will allow these operators to be trained and assessed to the higher standards that are currently required. After completing this type of Forklift refresher course the student will recieve a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency TLILIC0003 and a certificate stating that they meet or exceed the criteria to hold a Worksafe Forklift licence.

 

Type of refresher training:	Unit of Competency TLILIC0003
Students:	Maximum of 7 per trainer per day
Duration:	2 x 8 Hour Days
Prerequisites:	Must hold a current Worksafe Forklift Licence

Forklift refresher course option 2:

 

Complete all of the practical and theory activities that relate to the unit of competency TLILIC0003 - Licence to operate a Forklift truck in one 8 hour day. This option would suit a student that has obtained a Forklift Licence  and just wants to brush up on their skills and knowledge. At the end of this course the student will recieve a Certificate of Participation for a one day Forklift refresher course.

 

 

Forklift refresher course option 3:

 

Our 4 hour refresher course focuses directly on the critical aspects of Forklift operation. This course is usually run for companies that have more than 20 staff and want to conduct refresher training for their employees on a regular basis and not effecting productivity too much. At the end of this course the student will recieve a certificate of Participation stating that they have attended a Forklift refresher course.

 

Type of refresher training:	Standard Forklift refresher course
Students:	Maximum of 6 per trainer per 4 hour class
Duration:	1 x 4 Hour Class
Prerequisites:	Must hold a current Worksafe Forklift Licence
