Go Workplace Training offers this training using it's specially designed Confined Space Trailer. We can organise Training to be undertaken at our Dandenong South, Clayton or Williamstown locations; or alternatively we can come to you.

Safety footwear, gloves & hard hat

Equipment Required

: 

GWPT supply all materials required for Training & assessment. Our specially designed confined space trailer ensures all materials required are readily transportable to your business or place of training

Material Required

: 

All material is supplied including trainees guide, workbook, resource materials, assessment paperwork and administrative documentation.

Entry Requirements

: 

Basic verbal and written English communication skills sufficient to read material and understand instruction.

Can use the English language at a level that enables the safe performance of  entering & working in a confined space

Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the training must be disclosed prior to attending.

Candidates must be at least 15 years of age.

Course Description

: 

Participants will learn the requirements of safely preparing & planning to enter a Confined Space; including knowledge & skills in cobtaining the correct Entry Permit for the task & conducting gas testing prior to entering the Confined Space. Participants will be given an oppurtunity to undertake a task within a Confined Space & learn how to exit a Confined Space safely.

Participants will undertake practical & theory activities; followed by a practical & theory assessment.

Outcome

: 

Upon Successful completion of this course, participants receive a statement of attainment for RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces
