From 2020, you can obtain a digital High Risk Work Licence.
To obtain a digital licence, you will need a "my worksafe" account. www.myworksafe.vic.gov.au
When you are assessed for a High Risk Work Licence by an Accredited Assessor, you will receive an email from WorkSafe Victoria, which will have a link to access your "training number" & digital Notice of Assessment.
Applicants will apply on the myworksafe portal, with their training number & 100 points of ID. Successful applicants will receive a digital high risk work licence.
This digital licence can be shown to employers or other relevant parties, in replacement of the plastic HRW LIcence.
Verification of a Digital high risk work licence can be obtained by contacting WorkSafe on 1800 136 089.
High Risk Work Licences can still be issued as a plastic card & posted, if applicants apply at an Australia Post outlet, with the required documentation.
STUDENTS MUST APPLY FOR THEIR LICENCE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF ASSESSMENT, to avoid having to re attend & complete training & assessment.
